This policy explains what personal data SoccerTalentsBank collects and why, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and, for EU-based Users, the GDPR.

1. Data we collect

Account data (name, email, organisation details), academy verification documents, player profile data submitted by academies, guardian consent records for minors, messages sent through the platform, and standard technical/usage data.

2. Minors' data

We collect only the minimum data necessary to list a minor player: position, physical attributes, age/birth year (never exact date of birth to buyers), and a state/region-level location. The lawful basis for processing a minor's data is verified guardian consent, reviewed by a moderator before the profile can be published.

3. How we use data

To operate the marketplace, verify academies, moderate messages, process payments, and comply with law.

4. Who we share data with

Buyers see only the redacted profile data described in our Trust & Safety page. We do not sell personal data. Service providers (payments, storage, email) process data on our behalf under contract.

5. Your rights

Every account can request data export and account deletion. Contact us to exercise any other right available under NDPA or GDPR.
